My NKOTB Trip

I went on a trip to Denver Colorado last month and it was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Warning this will be along post... Just thought I would tell details to make up for the lack of me not posting for awhile.

It started with my friend Tonya and I leaving Utah on Monday morning.

We arrived in Denver around 8:00pm or so. We were way to excited to stay in the hotel, so we decided that we would get in the car to drive around to see if maybe we could find the New Kids. We thought it woul be a fat chance that we would find them, we drove around in the area that the concert was scheduled at and NO LUCK!! We then got a tweet from the drummer that he had gone to Jamba Juice and Walgreens, so we thought lets go back to the hotel and look in the phone book and see if there is a Jamba Juice and Wagreens close to each other so that we can go and check it out. Well NO LUCK there either. It was about 10:00 or so at this time. I said lets just go and drive around and see if we can see them heading into downtown Denver. So we did. We looked off of every freeway exit at any hotel that looked like something they would stay in, and NO LUCK yet again. We got closer to downtown and mind you we didn't even know where the heck we were going. But we got closer to downtown and tonya at this point was hesitante on the whole thing in finding them. I then said ok if we go this way and dont see them we can head back and try again in the morning. We both agreed. So we went and I decided to look down the streets of Denver to see if I could see anything. I looked down one street and saw a bus. I was so excited I was like OMG Tonya there is a bus its them. She wasn't to sure about it so we turned down the next street to see if we could track it down to see if it was them or not. We got there and sure enough it was. OMG I was so excited. We parked the car and went closer to the buses.

We went over to a corner in front of the buses and stood for about an hour or alittle longer then that before we saw any activity. After that we saw Donnie with a group of guys and his son Edub ( for short ) walking into the hotel. One of the girls waiting with us walked up to him as he walked by and asked "Facetime" and he said he was going to put his boy down and he would see us tomorrow.

Then about another hour or so went by and we would see Jonathan come out to some every so often. I thought that was cool, but some girls tweeted him about 1:30am or so to see if they could go over and talk to him and he said it was cool. So they went over and Tonya and I thought what do we do. We decided to stay where we were until by some miracle they called us over. Well about 15 minutes or so went by and I noticed that Jonathan would look over at us. And then a miracle did happen. After that time of wondering if he would call us over it happened. The first time he motioned for us to go over we weren't sure so we just continued to stand there. After another couple of minues he again called us over. Tonya and I headed over to him as well as the girls that tweeted him ( Deborah, Brandi, Adrienne and Irma ) and he asked us why we didn't just come over and we said we didn't want to be one of those crazy fans. He said it was cool. He then asked where we were from and we told him Utah he siad Utah? Isn't that where the Osmonds are from and David Archuleta. We said yes. The conversation continued for awhile. Then at about 2am he had to go. But before he went in we were able to get a pic with him. Here is mine.

The next day we were at their hotel by 7am, because we didn't want to miss anything. We didn't. Because there really wasnt any activity. We did see Jordan leave to go golfing and We did see Donnie and Danny leave with their kids which we figured out later by Donnies tweets that they went to the zoo for the day. During the day we were able to hang out with Deborah, Brandi, Adrienne and Irma. They are some amazing friends who I hope to be friends with forever, ( along with all of my Utah girls ). You girls are all AWESOME!! Love ya!!!

All in all my dream of meeting Donnie Wahlberg came true around 5:30pm or so that day. Waiting around was totally worth it. He came up to the group of about 12 to 15 girls in front of their hotel and took individual pics with us....



After he took the pics with the girls I wanted to ask him a question, so I hollered out Donnie I have a question, he then walked up to me and started rubbing my hat for a good few min. ANd that was an experience that I WILL NOT forget. That is for sure. I asked him if he had liked the gift that my girls had given to him in Vegas at the meet and greet, He said of course I do, I wear it everynight. And boy that was AWESOME!! He then chatted with us for a bit and went into the hotel.

Tonya was wanting to meet Danny so we left after meeting with Donnie to get a bite to eat then we headed back. Which she was glad we did for the reason that we were able to meet with Danny and get a picture with him. We didn't talk to him much since he was with his girls heading into the hotel.

But after Danny went into the hotel, we were able to meet the drummer for the NKOTB Chris Coleman (aka BamBam), we chatted with him for alittle over an hour. He is hilarious that is for sure. Love em all... Here is my pics of me and Danny and me and Chris...

The concert was the next day and it was AMAZING!! We all got Full Service for sure.. I lost my voice for about a week and a half and got a upper respiratory infection as well, which wasnt fun but you know what it was SOOO WORTH IT!! We came home on Thursday morning. I can't believe its all over. But I have the memores and pictues so I will never forget the experience and the friends that I have made in the process.
